I’ve tried to upgrade to High Sierra via Apple’s website, but this hasn’t worked – I get a message saying that ‘This update requires macOS version 10.8 or later’. f11 key does not work when it is allocated to another shortcut.but what do you see when you place your cursor on top-right of your screenhover your cursor where menubar and addressbar are found in normal mode.you should see them dropping down.and when you click the restore/maximize button, you will exit full screen. ![]() In the case of one website, I get an onscreen message stating that I need to upgrade my browser before I can access the site. Typically I’ll get an onscreen message saying ‘Safari can’t open the page (name of website) because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server'. More and more I’m finding that I’m no longer able to access various websites. Apple no longer send updates to my MacBook. ![]() ![]() I’m aware that this is now well out of date, there having been several OS versions since X Lion. I have a MacBook Pro, circa late 2011, which is installed with OS X Lion 10.7.5. ![]()
